With the warm weather coming it’s time for barbecues and outdoor activities. This means it’s time to showcase the body you have spent months in the gym working out. If you want to be noticed and appreciated for all the hard work you put into building your body and want people to ask how to get ripped then it will help if you aren’t flabby and soft around the middle. Get ready to change and move into “ripped” mode.

Most people, when asked will tell you that you must decrease the weight you lift and increase the reps in order to get ripped fast.
But do you really want to know the truth about how to get ripped? Do you want to know the facts behind lightweight vs heavy weight ways of building your body?
People are mostly misinformed about the right way to get cut and ripped. With no basis to support these claims for using lower weight to create higher definition, it is crucial that you don’t waste your time and energy doing exercises that won’t get you any results
The fact is that it’s impossible to spot reduce our body. To say you can’t spot reduce fat in any one area would be an understatement. Performing squats with light weights will not magically burn fat from your legs and make them look harder and more ripped.

1) Diet is really important
Start eating six small meals a day spread out and reduce your caloric intake to 15 times your total overall body weight. This increased metabolic state will keep you burning fat all day and all night even while you are resting . It’s time to considerably limit eating simple sugar and the unnecessary saturated fats and start eating low glycemic carbohydrates. At least 5 or 6 times a day it’s important to consume high quality protein. Make sure you only consume about 30 grams of protein at any one time because your body can’t process any more than this. 2) Get really ripped by doing your cardio differently.
Forget about the age old methods of cardio workouts of the 30 to 45 minutes of moderate intensity. If you want to get the most from your cardio workouts than start doing higher intensity cardio workouts and decrease the risk of losing some of the hard earned muscle you built throughout the colder months. Stop doing the elliptical machine and start doing some wind sprints, have you ever seen a skinny sprinter? This will improve your resting metabolic rate and will burn even more fat while maintaining the integrity of the muscle you have built over the months.
A good cardio workout should include 3 to 5 super high intensity workouts each week until you get the level of definition you are looking for.
It couldn’t get any easier than that!. You want to know how to get ripped? Forget about the lightweight and higher reps and concentrate on your diet and increasing the intensity of your cardio workouts. It is a fool who keeps doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
To get ripped just try the following:
1) Start using heavy weight and low reps to continue building muscle mass.
2) Change your diet and modify your cardio workouts to eliminate body fat and create visibly harder and more ripped muscles.
