Next time you stop at the gym, take a couple of seconds and watch all the people slaving away at their biceps routine. Could you be one of these people? Do you exercise your biceps every chance you get? I’m going to show you some tips on how you can build bigger biceps beyond anything you thought possible.
If you only work your biceps and forget the rest of your body, your biceps will never grow. Instead, you need a good muscle building routine that will encourage muscle growth everywhere. Make sure the muscle building program you decide to follow incorporates basic movements that work out the entire body, and it keeps isolation exercises to a minimum. The squat and the deadlift are two examples of the best exercises that encourage muscle growth through your entire body. When you find a solid bodybuilding program that is centred around these basic exercises you will be laying the foundation to grow bigger biceps.
With muscle building, less is sometimes more. There are some people that think the more sets you do the bigger your biceps will get. Unfortunately, this dose not happen. Work on keeping your sets to a minimum, and try to increase your weight each workout. If you work your biceps too often you are not allowing it recuperate properly, you are actually weakening the muscle.
If you want to build bigger biceps you need to incorporate these 2 basic exercises. Your work out should include barbell and dumbbell curls. Talk to anyone who has big arms, and I guarantee they incorporate these 2 basic exercises in their biceps routine. Focus on slowly increasing your reps and the amount of weight you use, and you will see your biceps grow over time.
Proper form is critical. To most people this is obvious, but it’s surprising at the amount of people who ignore proper form when their working their biceps. One reason is ego. There are a lot of people who work out with much more weight than they can handle, either to impress themselves or the other people near them. Be smart and remember, using good form will give you good results.
